Domestic Doings
I had every intention of getting a bunch of Christmas recipes and tutorials up on the blog during the last couple of weeks, but then the reality of the last two weeks before Christmas break set in and I just couldn't carve out the time. So, for now, I will just share a few pictures of some of the things I have been working on and cross my fingers that I will get good information about them up on the blog next year.
Early in the month my boys and I made these easy donut hole snowmen.
I also made these cute appliqued towels for some of the children in our church who will be getting baptized this year.
They were presented to the children tied up with a poem.
I also made these Christ plaques as Christmas presents for the Primary children in our congregation. I am currently the president of the Primary (children's organization) in our congregation and I loved making these cute, and meaningful gifts for them.
Here is a bit of a closer look at one of them.
While I was at it, I also made gifts for all the Primary teachers that do so much for all of our sweet kids!
Here is a closer look at one of them.
My boys and I have a tradition where we make an ornament each year. This year we made these snowmen ornaments. I love how they turned out.
I also developed a recipe for these yummy peppermint meltaways. Hopefully I will be on the ball enough next year to get the recipe up on the blog.
It has been a good, but busy few weeks. Merry Christmas!!
