Domestic Doings
I have just a few pictures to share this week.
First of all, and most importantly, my oldest boy turned fourteen. He always lets me do fun things for his cake, so this year I decided to do a donut tower - 14 donuts for 14 years! All of my boys loved it, and a couple asked if they could have a donut tower for their birthday. That is totally okay with me, because this is about the easiest birthday cake I have ever made.
I am sharing one more shot, just because it was such a hit. (And because I am a little short on pictures this week ;). )
I am also working on getting my kitchen organized. I will share more pictures as I get to them, but for today, here is a picture of my organized medicine cabinet. Well, most of it is a medicine cabinet. As you can see, the top shelf holds a few disposable pans and containers I can use when I need to take food to someone, and I don't want them to have to worry about returning dishes.
Finally, I dusted off the old sewing machine and worked on a quilt. Hopefully I will have more progress to show on this quilt soon.
