The Best Grilled Marinated Chicken

This easy recipe for grilled marinated chicken is the absolute best!  It results in the most delicious, juicy, flavorful chicken you can imagine.

This recipe does take a little bit of planning ahead because the chicken needs to marinate for several hours.  I always try to get the chicken in the marinade first thing in the morning and then let it hang out in the fridge all day (giving it a few stirs mid-day if I can), and then it is ready to grill at dinner time for a quick and easy meal in the evening. The longer you give it in the marinade, the more flavorful your chicken will be.

I like this marinade best with chicken tenderloins, but I have also used chicken breasts and chicken thighs.  They are all delicious and work out wonderfully.

This recipe calls for soy sauce.  I use coconut aminos instead. Since soy sauce is much saltier than coconut aminos, I add about 1/4 tsp. salt to the recipe.  - - I have noted these changes in the recipe below.

This marinade is enough to cover  about 20 - 25 chicken tenderloins, or 5 to 6 (maybe even a few more) chicken breasts.

We paired this chicken with buttered rice, watermelon, and corn on the cob for a perfect summer meal, but it is equally delicious in the colder months and goes well with a myriad of sides.

Try this chicken recipe!  I am confident that it will become a favorite at your house too!
