Front Entry

Today I am sharing the front entry of my home.  I will share some of the spaces in my home as I am working through them and getting them cleaned and organized.  This space always looks pretty much like this, but last week I gave it a good, thorough cleaning.  (You can see the door to my newly organized toy closet in this shot.)

I started with the floors.  I mopped the wood floor and the marble and gave the grout between the marble tiles a good scrub with one of my favorite cleaning tools.  It looks as good as new now.  I also vacuumed the rug.  I have to say I don't love the rug I have in this space, but I haven't found something that I love yet, so this is an inexpensive one that will do for now, until I can find "the one", that is also in my price range. :)

I also cleaned and dusted my hook shelf and all of the accessories on it.  I change the decor up on this hook shelf with the seasons/holidays, so you will probably get sick of seeing it, since I am sure I will always be anxious to share its newest look.

Just for fun, I am sharing some close-up shots of some of the decor on the shelf.  See, you can tell already that I wasn't lying about my oversharing of this hook shelf decor.

I am also sharing the light fixture I have hanging in the entry, because I love it and I always get compliments on it.  I think it would be really pretty as pendant lighting over a kitchen island too.  I will share an affiliate link for it at the end of the post as well.

So nice to have this entry thoroughly cleaned and checked off my to do list.
