Minimal Valentine Decor
I'm popping in today to share my Valentines Day decor. Since we are already almost a week into February I wasn't going to bother sharing with you, but I guess I just can't stand not sharing any changes I make to my favorite hook shelf. haha!
I like to keep my decorating pretty minimal for this holiday in my boy-filled house, but my teenagers don't complain and my little boys still love it, so I put up a few things. This is this years entry hook shelf/mantle Valentines decor.
I used pretty much everything that I already had on hand with the exception of the cute little chipboard hearts in a wood frame that I purchased at Target.
I'll show you a few close-ups . . .
This gives you a better idea of how cute the little chipboard hearts wall hanging really is.
I made the ABC board about four years ago, and I love getting it out every February.
This is just a better look at the decor I have on the other side of the shelf.

I also put up our favorite watercolor heart banner. My youngest was very excited to see this, since he helped me make it several years ago when he still spent his days at home with me.
I also got out the "Hugs and Kisses" quilt. It is nice to have an excuse to have this pink quilt out for a month every year.
I have links for the tutorials on how to make the wire heart banner and the watercolor heart banner on last year's Valentines's post. You can find it here.
You can also find my original post on my hugs and kisses quilt, with better pictures of it here.
