Patching Jeans

Just a few days ago I was thinking to myself, in amazement, how I could not believe that it was already January and I have not had to do a single repair to my boys jeans yet.  Well, I must have jinxed myself because in the last two days, three pairs of jeans materialized with holes in the knees.

Luckily, a few minutes at the sewing machine and this method have salvaged these jeans and allowed several more months of wear.

After that, the little boys and I made an after school snack for the big boys.

Whole wheat oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.  Yum!!
