Quilt for Son #2
A few days ago, son #2 was baptized into our church. It was a special day that I wanted him to always remember, so, I made him a special quilt and gave it to him on his big day.
This is the Pow Wow quilt pattern from Cluck Cluck Sew. I made it in throw size, and I will be honest - - I found it rather boring to make. You sew a lot of HSTs for this quilt, so if you love to sew them, then you will love, love, love making this quilt. If not, you will probably find it a bit boring to piece, as I did. Having said that I love, love, love this quilt. It turned out soooooo cute and perfect for an eight-year-old boy. I am so glad I made it, and I would do it again - boring to piece or not.
I backed it with soft chevron white minky. I thought it was a nice reflection of the arrow pattern on the front.
I quilted it in vertical straight lines on my machine, and I couldn't be happier with the end result.
