Domestic Doings
I made some of my Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies. It had been awhile since I had made these and the kids were super happy to see them again.
I know it seems that I only ever make treats. I think I rarely snap a picture of dinner, since my kids are always way too hungry for me to snap a picture before they dig in, and the lighting is always so terrible at that time of night during the winter. I will try to do a better job of taking pictures of some of our dinner ideas this summer.
My husband had another birthday and, per tradition, I made him his favorite Easy Cheese Danish. These really are so easy and very yummy!
My youngest is turning eight in a couple of months and being baptized into our church. I always make my boys a special quilt when they turn eight, so I spent a little time cutting his out. I can't wait to start piecing it together.
You can see my oldest son's baptism quilt here, and my second son's here. It looks like I never got the quilts that I made for sons number 3 or 4 posted on here. I will try to remember to take some pictures of them and get them up on the blog soon.
I also spent a little time getting my small kitchen pantry back in order. It wasn't bad, but I am glad to have it straightened up again. As you can see the labels are a little worse for wear. I am thinking of replacing them with labels like I have in my big pantry. I'll keep you posted if I do.
That is all I have pictures of this time. It has been a good couple of weeks!
